Frequently Asked Questions
How are interview minutes counted?
Minutes count only while at least one real person is on the call, and people don’t stack: a 30-minute interview with three people on the call uses 30 minutes, not 90. The AI moderator never counts as a person. Guide questions where the AI moderator asks follow-ups are billed at double rate, and the guide editor marks them “2x minutes”.
What is AI Moderator?
The AI moderator is a voice interviewer that joins the call, welcomes your respondent, asks every question in your discussion guide, listens to the answers and follows up where you allow it, so interviews can run at any hour without you on the call. It is included in every plan, including the free trial.
How does the Free Trial work?
The Free Trial gives you 0.5 hours of interviews with AI Moderator included in every session. After your trial, choose a paid plan to continue.
Who counts as a participant vs. an observer?
Participants are the people on camera — moderators and respondents. Observers watch and listen live without appearing in the session, so your whole team can follow along without affecting the interview.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and can arrange invoice billing for Enterprise customers.
What happens if I exceed my minutes?
When you reach your monthly interview minutes, you won't be able to start new interviews until your next billing cycle begins. You can upgrade your plan at any time for more minutes — upgrades take effect immediately.
